What ZyncTrip Collects
ZyncTrip stores the information needed to run shared trip planning: account details, Zync details, invite membership, stay options, votes, discussion notes, booking notes, expenses, and settlements.
AI and Prompt Data
When you use AI features, your trip prompt or relevant Zync context may be sent to the AI provider to create trip details, stay suggestions, or summaries. Avoid adding sensitive personal details that are not required for planning.
Analytics
ZyncTrip uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand product usage, such as page visits and key actions like creating a Zync, generating stay options, voting, and adding expenses. This helps improve the app during beta.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to provide the app experience, sync trip planning across members, generate AI assistance when requested, calculate expenses, and troubleshoot issues.
Sharing Inside a Zync
Members invited to a Zync can see shared planning details, options, votes, notes, expenses, and settlements for that Zync. Invite links should only be shared with people you want to include.
Data Removal
Zync owners can delete a Zync from the dashboard. Deleting a Zync removes its related planning data from the app. Members can also archive or leave Zyncs where available.
